Basic Technology
Basic Technology is an introductory subject that helps learners understand the tools, machines, and processes used in everyday life. It exposes pupils to simple machines, energy, materials, and basic skills needed to solve practical problems in their environment. The objective of learning Basic Technology is to develop curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving abilities in learners, while also teaching them how to safely use tools and understand how things work. Through this subject, pupils gain foundational knowledge that prepares them for future studies in science, engineering, and technology, and equips them with useful life skills for everyday activities.
